During March 2009 our Sunday School had their Big Day out again. Over a 100 children gathered on this Saturday to experience the fellowship and the fun. The day started with a Sunday School Service conducted by the Del Graf, where the focus was on “Jesus our friend”. Special was when some of the confirmands during the service were ’called up’ to do a talk on the importance on friendship...

On the weekend of 31st July 2009, 30 Youth members of various congregations, as far as Pahia, embarked on a Snow Trip weekend away to Tokaanu. Leaving the Friday evening, we arrived at our destination, which was Tokaanu Thermal Resort, about 6 hours later. After a lengthy trip, the thermal pools looked too irresistible for some of the youth, that even the cold winters night could not keep them out.............

| On Saturday the 13th of June 10 youth from Auckland travelled to Wellington. Arrival was early in Wellington and then some sightseeing together with the Wellington youth. A visit to Mt Victoria lookout was interesting especially when one looked down onto the planes landing at Wellington airport. Next a wander around Te Papa where all made a close study of the giant squid..............
